Hoops Math is a set of basketball math games for children, from toddlers to 4th grade, made by Teddy Dupay Basketball Academy (TDBA) in Florida. This page says what we keep, why, for how long, and how a grown-up deletes it.

What a grown-up gives us. An email and a password, typed once by a grown-up who is 18 or older. The password is stored scrambled; nobody can read it back.

Little Hoopers (toddlers)What we keep about your child. Only the player name your child picks from a list, and their game progress: pennies, balls, the things they bought and the rounds they played. No child's real name, age, birthday, photo or voice.

The other gamesWhat we keep about your child. Only the player name your child picks from a list, and their game progress: streak, coins, tickets and scores. No child's real name, age, birthday, photo or voice.

1st grade, Times Tables and 4th gradeWhat your child can do. Kids never type. Other players only ever see the picked player name. There is no chat and no messages. On Today's Board a child can send another player a five-question challenge; only the picked name and the score are shared. Computer players are always marked as robots.

Pre-K and KWhat your child can do. Kids never type. There are no boards, no other players and no messages in this game. Computer players are always marked as robots.

Children's privacy (COPPA). Hoops Math is made for children, including children under 13. A grown-up who is 18 or older makes the account, and we keep only what this page lists. There are no ads and nothing to buy. We never sell anyone's data or use it for ads, and the games load no outside trackers: no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no ad tags. Everything is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare.

What we count. How many times each game is opened each day, and which reward is picked after a round and about how long a child stays with it, each as one number. No name, account, device or address is attached to any of it.

Notes to us. This is a test version: BETA TEST is at the top of every screen. "Grown-ups: send us a note", beside it and in Settings, sends us what you type and, if you want, a picture of the screen. With it go the game, the screen, the version, the time, the kind of phone or computer and, when a grown-up is signed in, the account number of the kid playing. Never a name or an email. We read every note.

How long we keep it. Your family's game data stays while your account is open. Delete it at any time: it is gone from the game at once, and from the database's 30-day recovery copy within 30 days. Notes you send are kept until we have read them and fixed what they say, and never more than 12 months.

Delete your data. Signed in, open "For grown-ups" in the game and tap "Delete our data": delete one child, or the whole family. The grown-up's password is asked first.

Questions, or a change to your data. Write to hello@hoopsmath.com.
